Descriptor |
Creeping perennial herb, rooting along stem, producing erect leaf tufts. Tufts of narrow, cylindrical or slightly flattened yellow-green leaves 1-35cm x 0.5-5mm. Leaves are hollow and partitioned. Clusters of 2-10 stalked purple flowers, common stalk 6-45mm long, curving down in fruit. An interesting little plant for creeping around edges or in the shallows of pools and dams. |
