Descriptor |
Perennial grass with elongated rhizomes, found mainly near coastal areas and inland saline wetlands. Stems long-creeping, with leafy parts usually erect. Leaves strongly distichous, smooth and glabrous, blade strongly incurved, rather stiff and sharp pointed. Spikelets 6-14 flowered, lanceolate 9-16 mm long, glumes acute to acuminate 4-6mm long. |
