Prostrate, creeping groundcover. Succulent leaves up to 100mm long. Flowers are daisy like: mauve to purple petals and a white centre. Common to coastal dunes. |

Food: Fruits and leaves are edible, fresh or dried. Salty leaves were reported to have been eaten with meat. Extracts of the plant have antioxidant, anti inflammatory benefits. |
