Descriptor |
Upright to rounded dense shrub. Narrow dark green leaves, downy pale brown below, pointed with a few teeth towards the end, 2-7cm x 2-5mm. Dense bottlebrush flowerhead with black hooked styles, to 20cm long. Seeds retained in the cone until branch dies or breaks. Excellent screening shrub, suitable for underplanting eucalypts. Pruning encourages bushiness. |
