Descriptor
Straggling to dense spreading evergreen shrub or tree with dense foliage and small single large ball-shaped bright yellow flower heads.  Spreading pair of thorns to 1cm at the base of leaves. Oblong to narrow dark green leaves, wavy along one edge, midrib off center 8-30mm x 2-7mm, sharply pointed tip. Useful as erosion control, barrier, hedge or screen for low traffic areas. Excellent refuge for birds
