Fast growing evergreen tree or shrub with waxy new growth. Ferny, blue-green leaves to 13cm long. Smooth ridges on central leaf stalk >2mm long, pointed. Smooth ridges on silvery branchlets. Lemon to bright yellow flowers. Native to Tasmania. Typically a pioneer species after fire. Nitrogen fixing. Useful selection for a windbreak, erosion control, revegetation, soil improver. |
