Descriptor |
Erect perennial tussock forming grass. Native Australia C4 grass. Leaves are generally rough and glabrous. The culms are wrapped in broad sheaths. Leaves are generally 4-13cm in length, rolled and tapered to a point. Flowers are dense and pointed 3-12cm in length x 1.5-2cm wide. Flowers are pale to light purple in color up to 3cm in length. |
