Working with Melbourne Water on a wetland constructed by Entracon PTY LTD, Australian Ecosystems propagated, planted and maintained approximately 60,000 plants on this project. Waverley Retarding Basin is designed to retain and treat polluted stormwater from a large built up catchment before releasing into the Scotchmans Creek. This project is upstream from another significant project performed by Australian Ecosystems at Huntingdale Retarding Basin, also situated on Scotchmans Creek.
