This project involved close collaboration with golf course architect Thompson Perrett.
The Australian Ecosystems brief involved consultancy on species lists and planting plans, seed collection, propagation, planting and maintenance of over 600,000 plants and around 100 species.
The project involved the ecorestoration of country that would once have supported extensive Red Gum Woodland and herb rich wildflower and wetland areas.
After maintaining the vegetation on this site Australian Ecosystems has conducted a staged handover to the Golf Course maintenance staff.
This process has involved an education process involving indigenous plant and weed identification and correct use of appropriate herbicides, to ensure the habitat areas receive appropriate skilled management into the future.
