This project on the West of Melbourne involved the revegetation of a number of constructed wetlands on the interface between Sanctuary Lakes Housing Estate and the Skeleton Creek.
The project involved restoration of Saltmarsh, grassland and wetland plant communities.
The wetlands were designed to capture, retain and treat stormwater prior to discharge into the creek.
The site is an important bird habitat area. Australian Ecosystems assisted in the development of a species list, and collected, propagated and maintained over 200,000 plants on this project.
