VicUrban has been a proactive supporter of the development and application of WSUD. Australian Ecosystems have revegetated over 80% of VicUrban wetland projects, including five wetlands at Roxburgh Park, all waterbodies at Cairnlea Lakes and Herriots Glen, and a series or wetlands at Tenterfield, Valley Lake, Lynbrook Estate and the Boardwalk Estate, Point Cook.
At Roxburgh Park, Australian Ecosystems has assisted in designing appropriate species lists, propagating, planting and maintaining over 150,000 plants on five water bodies. As well as establishing aquatic vegetation, significant wetland buffer landscaping works including mulching and planting of locally indigenous terrestrial species has been undertaken.
