Mill Park Lakes is a major wetland system and drainage system jointly planned and implemented by developers and Melbourne Water. Australian Ecosystems collected seed, propagated and planted around 350,000 plants on this project. This site is now a significant habitat site for a variety of bird species, and contains some highly culturally significant old Red Gums that have numerous Aboriginal scars.
