This project involved the revegetation of two major water bodies for Melbourne Water on the Moonee Ponds Creek to the north and south of the Western Ring Road as part of the Healthy Bays programme.

Australian Ecosystems collected seed, propagated, planted and maintained over 400,000 plants for the two wetlands.

Special attention was paid to creating large swards of Water Ribbon (Triglochin procera) the preferred habitat plant of the endangered Growling Grass Frog, which has colonised the site.
