The purpose of this project was water filtration, nutrient removal and habitat creation.
260,000 plants were grown and installed by Australian Ecosystems at these two wetlands to the north and south of Heatherton Road in South East Melbourne.
Wetlands like this play an important role in reducing human sourced Nitrogen, Phosphorous and other pollutants from reaching our streams and rivers and ultimately Port Phillip Bay.
