This project involved Australian Ecosystems establishing extensive areas of saltmarsh and brackish wetlands on the floodplain of the Maribyrnong River, near Footscray.
Australian Ecosystems propagated and established 200,000 plants of about 100 different species for this project. The lake and wetlands now provide breeding habitat for many species of birds, fish and frogs.
