Australian Ecosystems has worked with the Delfin Corporation since 2000 and throughout the construction and revegetation of an extensive wetland, lake and swale system at Caroline Springs.
This project involved specialist understanding of the propagation and production of more saline tolerant species due to the influence of saline groundwater used to subsidise the filling of the system.
The works at Caroline Springs have resulted in excellent plant establishment and these wetlands have become important habitat for a range of bird and frog species including the Growling Grass Frog (Litoria raniformis).
