Set in an industrial area in Northern Melbourne, this wetland was retrofitted into a Melbourne Water retarding basin which feeds into the Campbellfield Creek. Australian Ecosystems collected seed, propagated and planted 340,000 wetland and Basalt Plains grassland species for this project, which performs a significant nutrient removal and water quality function for water that eventually ends up in the Merri Creek.
