Australian Ecosystems employs over 50 staff from a range of disciplines including horticulture, botany, ecology, engineering, landscape architecture, construction and sustainability. Our teams are led by specialists who are well respected in their industry and we are working on multiple projects simultaneously throughout the year.
Brendan CondonManaging DirectorBrendan brings 25 years of professional experience in ecological restoration projects. He is Managing Director and co-founder of Australian Ecosystems (AE), an integrated company that offers a range of services in landscape construction and ecological land restoration. Brendan has overseen the development and running of all aspects of the company, including nursery design and construction, development of transport and planting systems, and the seed collection, growing, planting and maintenance to maturity of over 30 million plants on over 500 projects across a diverse range of ecosystem types across the Greater Melbourne region and Victoria.

Karen Ashton-BradleyFinancial Controller and Administration ManagerKaren is a qualified Accountant and has worked with Australian Ecosystems since 2009. She has previously held accounting and financial management positions for a range of clients and industries, has developed extensive knowledge and practical experience in business administration and financial management. Karen is responsible for the Financial Management and Contract Administration of the company.

Todd Miles
Nursery General Manager
Todd has over 20 years of experience managing his own nursery in Tasmania where he specialised in growing ornamental flowers. Todd has a philosophy that encourages the synergy of a well-run enterprise and the positive environmental outcomes this can provide. Todd has comprehensive and practical knowledge of plant material used in private and public ornamental gardens, including native and exotic trees, shrubs, grasses, perennials and annuals. Charles PinnuckMaintenance Project ManagerCharles manages environmental maintenance and specialist constructed wetland projects throughout greater Melbourne and regional Victoria. Charles draws on just under 10 years of operational experience at SERCO where he was responsible for the operational maintenance management of the City of Melbourne’s public open spaces to the north and west of the CBD. He applies his considerable skills in staff management and on-ground works in his role as well as strategic planning and ongoing development of ecological restoration techniques.
