Fire is widely recognised as an essential ecological process for maintaining natural systems in Australia. Fire applied as a vegetation management tool promotes plant regeneration, recycles nutrients, reduces biomass and minimizes the risk and scale of destructive wildfires.

Australian Ecosystems has conducted burns in remnant, revegetated and exotic ecosystems across Melbourne since 2000 for a range of clients. Burns are planned to industry standards, conducted by experienced, trained and nationally accredited staff and are comprehensively insured.

• No fire will be ignited outside low-danger weather conditions
